Judge Dismisses Injured Man’s Claim agains the City of New York

After a two-day trial in Brooklyn federal court, a visiting federal judge from Louisiana has dismissed the case of a 66-year old Bronx resident, Joseph Adde, who claimed he was injured in the crash of the Staten Island Ferry Andrew J. Barberi.

Sometimes Juries Do Get It Wrong!

You will all too often hear how juries are out of control because they supposedly award undeserved verdicts to injury victims. I disagree – our legal system is the greatest legal system in the world. I do agree that sometimes they “get it wrong”, no more so than in a recent Florida medical malpractice action.
