IMPORTANTLY, THE POLICE HAD NO SIRENS ON & HE HAD HIT A PARKED CAR BEFORE HITTING US! We received a call from one of the Police Officers recommending an atty to us to pursue legal action against the drunk uninsured driver. When we contacted the atty (WHO REPRESENTS THE TOWNS POLICE DEPARTMENT) He said Not to list the Police in the Lawsuit or we would be Harassed Every day of our Lives by the police of this town) I STILL CANNOT GET IT OUT OF MIND & IN MY PERSONAL OPINION & BELIEF THAT WE WERE HAD! THAT THIS WAS A COVER UP! We were both injured from the accident & to sick & busy with MD treatment & Surgery! In our Personal Opinion & Belief the call from the Police Officer & the Attorney recommendation were a set up to protect the Police. This lawyer & his Colleagues Socialize & play hockey together! Also this Lawyers office represents the police & the police officer that called & recommended us to this attorneys office!We Feel Like we were Victimized twice & can't get this out of our mind!
